In response to the coronavirus crisis, Incisive Media has made the decision to host the annual awards online as a special virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday 11 November. You will be able to register for the live ceremony soon.

Incisive Media is delighted to launch the Women in Law Awards 2020, an exciting new opportunity to showcase the achievements and innovations of women across all areas of legal practice.
The legal profession has made significant strides down the road to creating a genuinely diverse, equal opportunities landscape. Law firms and organisations have become increasingly transparent about their gender pay gap and flexible working conditions are commonplace. But there is still a long way to go to break the glass ceiling that impacts the career prospects of women in legal practice and at board level. The Awards are also here to recognise non-practising roles in law firms, in-house teams and across the industry as a whole.

The Women in Law Awards will honour the inspiring achievements of women across all segments of the industry and will also help shape the discussion around how diversity can be improved by highlighting some of the most forward-thinking initiatives. Showcasing excellence and achievement is a vital tool in the continuing battle to establish equality across all parts of the profession and in all roles.
The Institute of Paralegals is a proud supporter of these awards, as they honour the inspiring achievements of women across all segments of law and will also help shape the discussion around how we can improve diversity within the sector as we highlight some of the most forward-thinking initiatives. We hope these will help move our diversity agenda forward, especially for women, as everyone knows there are still many issues to be addressed and challenges overcome. IoP supports Women in Law Awards 2020
The IoP is extremely proud to be supporting the 2020 Women in Law Awards, shining a light on the very best of the hundreds of women striving for excellence in the field of law.
This year, the event will be held virtually on November 11th. Registration to view it from your own home will be open soon on the Women in Law Awards website.

Showcasing excellence and achievement is a vital tool in the continuing battle to establish equality across all parts of the profession and in all roles.
The legal profession has made significant strides down the road to creating a genuinely diverse, equal opportunities landscape. The IoP launched its own Diversity and inclusion Charter this year for employers of paralegals to make a commitment to diversity and inclusion to ensure that the legal sector is able to meet the needs of consumers and clients. Our charter aims to assist employers to attract and retain talent. We work with you to identify career paralegals as well as those who wish to progress their careers further.
