About the Guest Speaker
Safda Mahmood
Safda Mahmood is an author, senior solicitor and advocacy leam Leader, for Coventry City Council, as well as a well-recognised professional development provider across England and Wales. Safda has been an approved member of the SRA list of CPD providers and has continued to practise and lecture in family law, practice and procedure for over 26 years. Safda has been a continuous member of the Law Society Children Law Accredited Panel, specialising in children and adoption law. As an author, Safda has written for various publications, including Jordan’s Family Law Journal, The Chartered Legal Executives Journal, Solicitors Journal and the Law Society and Local Government Bulletin. Safda is co-author of the title ‘Child Care and Protection: Law and Practice: Sixth Edition’, by Wildy, and author of the publication, ‘Covid-19 and Family Law in England and Wales: The Essential Guide’, by Law Brief Publishing.
