Paralegal survey
Members of the Institute of Paralegals were able to participate in the third Member Survey to help us understand the challenges members are facing in light of COVID-19 and to learn how we can best support our members and the Paralegal profession.
In these unprecedented times, as the professional body for Paralegals we want to do everything support our members.
Many thanks to all those who took part in our recent survey and to those who took part earlier in the year.
Our third Covid-19 survey has revealed some very uplifting results, which is good news for our members and the sector as a whole.
An impressive 84% of members we surveyed are still working full time with a further 9% still on furlough and 2% losing their jobs.
18% of the survey results have come from our International members and 82% from our UK members, which is indicative of our International following.
As for new opportunities, 56% have indicated that they have found new opportunities to increase their business.
We have a very diverse membership base with 59% of responses coming from employees, 34% from the self-employed, sole practitioner or freelancer and 7% from employers.
This survey shows a great resilience amongst our members and an ever increasing demand for Paralegals.
